We are going to do a “test run” for the upcoming Spring Jamboree! It will take place on the 30 and 31st of March. We will map out the activities and try to give the best possible experience at the jamboree! Official decisions on the activities will be made at the meeting tonight (7:00 at the Sports Mall). Future Camps

We will be going to Crystal Hot Springs February 17th and 18th. We will also go on a “Pre-Jamboree” camp in the last week of March. The actual Spring Jamboree will be in the 3rd week of April. We are also hoping to host a booth, with sparring weapons, at the Scoutorama in early May.
Meeting Minutes for 1/31/12
Posted February 1, 2012 by vtroopCategories: Meetings and Activities
This weeks meeting we discussed the success of the Klondike Derby. We also spoke of ways that the experience could be made safer and more enjoyable. Some ideas were to make the first aid station on softer snow, to prevent injury if an accident were to happen. The crew should be trained in first aid to be prepared for any possible incident. And the axe chopping activity will need more stations to prevent buildup. Somethings that we need to have for future camps (specifically for Crew 2329), is more food and water.
We also discussed future plans for the crew. We are planning on participating in the online fundraiser for BSA selling popcorn. Mess kits and Crew T-Shirts will need to be purchased with that raised money. We are also planning a Mother’s Day dinner.
